About Me
Hello, I’m Gregory- copier technician, pilot, and college student, all of these part-time. I’ve been married since 2024 with no kids, but I hope that changes soon. Like anyone else, my life is also very busy; therefore, I find enjoyment in things that help me to relax, such as video games and books.
I enjoy the adventures they take me on and the discoveries that I can make on my own and in my own time. From epic fantasy to story-driven adventures, I’ve spent years soaking up as much as I can, and I’m not done yet.
Why I Created This Blog
Anyone can play a game and read a book at first glance, and nothing’s wrong with that, but archivers seek to go beyond what’s on the surface.
I have enjoyed playing video games and reading books for many years, just like many of you. I decided to share my journeys and thoughts with those who share the same passion as I do. I wanted to share this sense of wonder that I feel with gaming and reading. Whether it’s the quiet beauty of a novel’s final page or the redemptive arc of a game hero, these stories remind us why imagination still matters.
What You Can Expect
In this blog, I will write lore within the books and games I enjoy, what I am currently reading/gaming, and share deep-diving posts as well. As a bonus, I will post short stories that I write here as well.
Every Sunday and Thursday (except for holidays), I will alternate posting about a book or game, and every now and then, we will go even further than that. If you enjoy exploring new worlds and thoughtful stories, you’re in the right place.
I want others to see the beauty in reading and see video games as something other than a burden or a waste. They unlock the imagination. Be warned of any potential spoilers with any of my posts.
